I found Kat while scouring all of facebook for affordable Chicagoland area photographers. My husband and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on our wedding, and I must've spent hours searching for potential photographers. Clicked around Kat's website and fell in love with her photography style!
From our first conversation via instagram, I felt like we hit it off. I had messaged a few other photographers as well. Everyone was sweet, but I really was drawn to Kat. One of the best decisions we made for the wedding was to hire her! She responded to every question and message in a very timely manner, and boy did I have a ton, LOL!
The day of, Kat and her second shooter, Arleigh, were everything I hoped for and more! Kat is super personable and it really felt like I was having a friend take our wedding photos. She made us feel really comfortable throughout the entire night. We initially planned for our ceremony and portrait photos to be outdoors, but it rained for most of the day. Kat had a clear umbrella for us to use for some outdoor photos, and so many ideas for taking photos indoors. When there was a break in the rain, Kat and Arleigh snuck off my husband and I into the venue's backyard for some photos so we didn't totally miss out on those!
So sorry for the long review, but long story short, hire Kat!! She sent us a few previews the day after our wedding and we absolutely loved them. We can't wait to see the rest! If we are blessed with a child in the near future, we would love to hire Kat again to take our family photos!

We worked with Kat three times and each time she has been fantastic. Our first session our two year old was not interested in having her picture taken but you’d never know from our gallery! Kat listened to what we wanted for our family/maternity session, worked with our hectic schedule, and the photos were beautifully done. Lastly, she photographed a newborn session for us and was so patient and adaptable with our baby. She is very professional, kind, personable, and accommodating. I will use her for our photos again!
